Our lifting service is not about what we do; it is all about what you need. Flexibility and adaptability are our watchwords. We respond as and when you need our help, either with a complete package to manage the whole lifting operation for you or with discrete lifting elements delivered as bespoke moments within your project plan.
Our service aspiration is to become your integrated long term lifting partner whom you trust as you trust your own, rather than remain your occasional lifting contractor. We invest in the latest technology to leave nothing unplanned and eradicate unexpected difficulties so that once the lifting operation starts we know we will complete it successfully.
We use this technology to create a detailed 3D virtual environment based on real-world data that enables us to plan your lift in greater detail and far more accurately than our competitors. It allows us to test different configurations, loads and methodologies.
Radius 7-Step Process
Here at Radius we have a 7 step process that we aim to follow whenever we come to starting a new job. This process helps to make sure we have planned for every possible problem that may occur.
Enquiry & Manager Allocation
From the moment your enquiry is received, one of our Contract Lift Managers will be allocated to your project ensuring a responsive service from start to finish.
This enables our Contract Lift Manager to meet with you to understand in depth your requirements and carry out a full Risk Assessment to assist with the planning process.
Planning Proposal AutoCAD
Upon completion of our comprehensive site survey, we will use our premium design and planning facilities to develop our proposal ready for presentation to you.
Solution & Presentation
Once we have completed our own internal review, we will present our solution to you for comment and acceptance in a format that is easy to read.
Preparation Of RAMS & Proposal
Once the proposed scheme has been agreed, the complete ‘Safe System of Work’ can be produced, outlining in detail how the works are to be carried in line with the Risk Assessment.
Safety Sign Off/Approval
Following acceptance of the Method Statement & Risk Assessment, the Lift Supervisor will brief the lifting team prior to commencement of any works.
Our fully briefed team will arrive on site ready to take the lead ensuring the ‘Safe System of Work’ is followed supporting your project team at all times.

“Radius were great. We employed them to manage the actual lifts themselves and carry out the slinging. The way they approached it and the way they carried it out on the day was absolutely superb.”
“We would like to thank you all for your efforts and work at Marine Wharf. The preparation works for dismantle was well planned from the office team and it was good to see the same site team again who initially erected the crane at site.”
“Without your efforts and diligence , its unlikely that the lifting operations would have gone ahead.”
“Well done, we look forward to working with you guys again, and for making our job so much easier.”
“Having worked with Radius on previous projects, I knew that having them on board meant that I could focus on other areas of the project such as the design and installation process, safe in the knowledge that the lifting was in hand.”
